The post comes in 2 pieces. The top section goes 1 and a half inches into the bottom section. I had to lubricate the joint and use force to get them together. The hole where the wire comes out is only 6 inches from the bottom yet you are to put the post 18 inches in the ground. The hole should have been about 12 inches from the bottom. It looks good though.

It came in and was beautiful. I am now looking for someone to put them up. I was very pleased with the service i got from lighting universe.
