This light looks heavy and substantial, although it is relatively light weight. The handyman who installed it for me said that it should maintain its looks for a very long time, since it is not metal. The glass is beautiful. The only less than excellent rating is owing to the surface where the glass sits not having a notch to keep it exactly perfectly straight. Overall, this outdoor pendant is a great buy.
