The base of this fixture does not account for the space required for wiring and is very difficult to mount on the ceiling box because of this. There is also a significant amount of up light or light coming out of the back of the fixture onto the ceiling

We bought several of these directional spots to illuminate the the trusses and ceiling of our new timberframe home. They're perfect for the job. Unobtrusive, yet the light creates quite a bit of drama. Love them!

Very nice product. Solid and well-made; easy to install. Very attractive. We put some new LED bulbs in as replacements for the halogens, and they worked great.
