I bought two of these in black. On one the finish was applied poorly - sags and runs with a couple of missed spots. Very uneven. The other had an OK finish, but mechanically was poor. The nut that holds the light to the mounting plate was stripped and so couldn't be tightened. The plastic washer between the mounting shaft and the mounting plate (that allows it to swivel) was damaged. For my purposes, they will do, but had I seen them first I would not have purchased. Unfortunately, our local big box no longer carries the single light version - just the double and triple.

Good bang for the buck. Just be gentle adjusting angle after installing so as not to break the nylon washer.

The simple, classic can light I've always preferred. Really happy it's still available without having to use a halogen bulb. We use these to spot art work. Perfect.
